David Baron

VP of Sales, East

David Baron is the VP of Sales for iModerate Research Technologies in the East. David has been in business development and management in the technology industry since 1996. During that time he has become a trusted partner to clients across the globe, providing them with customized solutions to meet their business needs. David has always had a passion for online marketing & research. His experience in this arena, particularly in return on marketing investment, has fueled his results-driven approach to helping clients.

At IDG, David was responsible for sales at IDG Connect, a direct marketing group that features lead generation services and access to a multi-million name database of IT buyers. Previously, David worked as Director of Sales at Ziff Davis’ Web Buyer’s Guide where he both managed the sales team and provided online lead generation consulting services for both IT vendors and agencies.

Prior to Ziff Davis, David held management and sales positions at online news and information outlets including ClickZ, Internet.com, and Yahoo! Inc. At Yahoo! he helped establish their first telesales group. Additionally, for more than 10 years, Baron served in sales positions for events such as COMDEX/ Las Vegas, Interop, and VON.
